Terms & Conditions of Purchase

The Partnership wishes you to have an enjoyable experience shopping on our site. We are happy to receive comments. Contact Us

Ordering

Please browse our list of Publications, and click on the items you are interested in. Each Publication page has a link to 'Add to Basket'. You may add as many publications as you like to your basket, and there is no minimum order requirement. When you are ready to purchase, follow the steps from your Shopping Basket to enter your contact, delivery and payment details. Following a successful order, you will receive a confirmation email from the Partnership.

Prices

The price of each product is shown on the individual product description page. The shipping/delivery charge is calculated according to the delivery destination and aggregate weight of the total order.

The full cost of your order, including delivery charges, will be shown at the checkout before you confirm the transaction and provide payment details.

Payment

Payment may be made by MasterCard, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron and JCB cards, and will be processed by WorldPay. After confirming your order on the Partnership website, you will be transferred to the secure WorldPay server to enter your card details. Customers' card details will be held by WorldPay, the Partnership will never see card details. Customers should not attempt to supply card details by any other method, as security cannot be assured and the Partnership will not be liable for any losses. If the customer considers card details have been fraudulently used, they should contact their bank.

The Partnership is obliged to ensure customers have seen these Terms and Conditions prior to making a payment and the customer will be required to acknowledge this by ticking the appropriate box at the Checkout stage.

Customers will receive an email from WorldPay confirming that their payment has been processed.

Delivery

Orders will normally be despatched within 24 hours of receipt, but customers should allow 14 days for delivery. Occasionally, this timescale may be exceeded due to holidays, but in such circumstances, there will be a message on the Home page. Customers will be advised by email when orders have been despatched.  If customers are concerned at the time their order is taking to be delivered they should Contact Us.

Orders weighing not more than 1 kilogram will be despatched by second class post; orders weighing more than 1 but not exceeding 2 kilograms, by Royal Mail Standard Parcel post, and orders weighing more than 2 kilogram by Parcelforce. Orders to Europe and the Rest of the World will be sent by Airmail.

Damaged goods

The Partnership aims to supply goods of merchantable quality and as ordered. We promise to replace goods which are damaged or not what was ordered. In the event of dissatisfaction, the customer should Contact Us for guidance on their return. The Partnership will refund the cost of return and their replacement.

Returns

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, as amended by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)(Amendment) Regulations 2005, the customer has the right to cancel an order for goods within 7 working days of receipt of delivery. Notification of intention to cancel should be received by the Partnership within the 7 day 'cooling off' period in writing by letter or email. See Contact Us. On receipt of the due notice, the Partnership will refund the retail price of the goods through WorldPay if, but only if, they are returned in a re-saleable condition. The goods are to be cared for by the customer at the customer's risk. The cost of returning the goods must be paid for by the customer and will not be borne by the Partnership. Payment of a refund will be made within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods in a re-saleable condition by the Partnership through WorldPay .

No refund will be made in respect of CD-Rom's or DVD's where the customer has opened the seal or wrapper.

Privacy Policy

The Partnership will not share or divulge any part of the order or customer details with any other party or organisation.

Legal Rights

The laws of England and Wales shall apply to the contract and are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
